Same username different organization

Hi, we want to enforce preferred username = email. There is also a use case where a single email can be invited in more than one organization (think like an external contractor that work on several organizations)

It turns out that Zitadel only allow one username for all organization. Are there any workarounds?

hey @Tegar thanks for your question.
Zitadel has a domain setting called "User Loginname must contain orgdomain" that affects how usernames are handled. When this setting is disabled, your username will be unique within the whole instance.
But in turn, your username will look in the format of {username}@{domainname}.${CUSTOM_DOMAIN}{username}@{domainname}.${CUSTOM_DOMAIN}
