Invitation Code

This may be a feature already, but I wanted to flag it just incase it wasn't.
Would it be possible to add a invitation code which links to an email, an the user has to type in the invite code to verify their allowed access to the application?
So we've got two scenarios which we're looking to build in our system which is:
1. Send invite to join application
2. There will be teams within the application; We want to be able to secure the teams, so people can't just join and enter. They need to be invited. So we want an additional invite code to join teams.
We can build this ourselves in our own system, but with us using Zitadel, it'd be good to keep all this in the same place.
