Will Zitadel give me JWT tokens or a session id?

I'm currently trying to get an overall understanding about Zitadel and I want to understand if Zitadel returns session IDs or JWT tokens or if this is configurable?
(my use case: I want my users to be able to sign up and log in via username and password, as well as via the social providers like Facebook and Google)
