Message Texts - Default Language Incorrect
Self-Hosted - v3.3.0
I think I found a bug?
When I'm in the "Message Texts" section the page loads the first available Language from "Languages" despite English being set as the default.
Basically, it uses the languages based on their numerical order in enabled languages, regardless of "default".
- Is this intentional or a bug?
If a bug, should I open a github issue for this?

Hey there @Larzous! Thanks for reaching out - Let me double check this on my instance, quickly check with our engineers, and then I'll get back to you as soon as possible with follow up steps!
No problem, if you want more screen shots in order or whatever I can do it. I'll open a GitHub issue ticket for this if it's an actual bug and not just undocumented intended behaviors.
Thank you! I've checked this on my instance and noticed the same behavior - I'm waiting on confirmation internally on if this is a bug or intentionally designed as such. I'll update you as soon as I receive confirmation ☺️ Thanks again for your patience
While we wait, if you want to dive into another bug confirmation for me, plz check out #Email Branding - Bug
Let me go ahead and take a look at this thread for you :gigipixel:
and update from the team on if this issue needs a bug report as well?
hey @Larzous good day, I just quickly read your issue and it seems like a bug.
We even have a statement conforming that it should ONLY render the text in the selected language.
If you allow me more time and if its not urgent, I can do more testing but looking at the docs right now, this was an unexpected behaviour.
Imo pls open an issue and update it with your findings.
I read that you were going to get back to me and I noticed the thread vanished from my left bar in Discord.
I'll look at getting a ticket for this in the next couple days. -- Non urgent fix, I re-ordered English to top, and or removed everything I didn't want to see/support.
hi @Larzous I dont see any other old issues, but I remmeber writing yoiu backl for this, and awesome that it worked for now 🙂
