Does ZITADEL support automatic retries for failed Actionsv2 webhook executions?
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m using Actions v2 with webhook targets configured under function and event executions. I see that when a webhook returns an error (HTTP 500, timeout, etc.), ZITADEL can interrupt further execution (via interruptOnError) and indicates failure.
But my questions are:
Is there built-in retry logic in ZITADEL for failed webhook calls in Actions v2—i.e., so Zitadel can retry automatically when a target fails?

Hi @JoseSzycho, thanks for reaching out! Currently, Actions V2 does not natively support automatic retries for failed webhook executions.
This is implied in the Error Forwarding section of the docs where it mentions "If the Target returns any other status code than >= 200 and < 299, the execution is looked at as failed, and a PreconditionFailed error is logged."
If you consider this is a feature you would like us to include, you can create a Feature request here. I hope this answers your question!
