Rhey @giggleman thanks for your question, instead of guessing, you can decode your token to check your 
aud and as per the scope you mentioned, ues you need to append that scope, you can read about it here if that helps ZITADEL supports the usage of scopes as way of requesting information from the IAM and also instruct ZITADEL to do certain operations.
