Terraform module fails with "failed to start zitadel client: issuer does not match"
I am running a self hosted zitadel instance that I recently enabled SSL on. zitadel is behind an nginx proxy that is handling the SSL certs and tls mode is set to external.
using the browser, I am able to log in and make settings changes without issue. however, when I attempt to use terraform to apply a set of configurations I get this error: "failed to start zitadel client: issuer does not match". I previously had this instance running without SSL and the terraform config was working just fine. I have updated the terraform file to set insecure="false" and the domain has not changed. I have a machine user with IAM owner permissions set up and a JWT profile for it in terraform.
I have googled this issue in various ways but nothing relevant has turned up. what is going on and more importantly how do I fix it?
